How to Use this Site
Nurse iCON provides licensed practical nurses, registered nurses (including nursing students!) and nurse practitioners a safe and secure website to search for career opportunities. Nurses may use the site for free! To register, just click on the link “Nurses” and click the link SIGN UP NOW for access to ICON. A registration form will pop up for your use. Simply complete the form, entering your contact information, education and experience and your employment preferences; region of the state, medical specialty, shifts and preferred employment setting. The program even asks if you want employers to contact you or if you prefer to keep your registration private and only send your information to those employers that you wish to connect with. Nurses can choose to submit their resume by uploading the document when you register, or you can return to the site and upload it at a later date.
Once you have completed the registration and selected a password, you will have to verify your email address by replying to the Nurse iCON welcome message that is sent to your email in box. Once your email address is verified, you can return to Nurse iCON, log in and begin your search. Nurse iCON is designed with easy functionality. Each time a new job is posted that matches your preferences, you will receive an email notification from Nurse iCON. Just return to the site and log in to view the job opportunity details. It’s just that easy.
Nurse iCON does not sell or disclose nurses’ entrusted information. Only Michigan based employers are permitted to join Nurse iCON as members and post their jobs on the site. No search firms or headhunters/staffing agencies are permitted access to Nurse iCON. You can be confident that your information is protected.
