With over 50 Nursing training programs in Michigan, there are many opportunities for qualified nurses to pursue an academic appointment, a part time nurse faculty position, or a full time academic career. Multiple factors have contributed to the projected nursing workforce shortage. As a result, nursing school enrollment continues to grow, which has increased the demand for nursing faculty.
